• Via the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject and the content of your message.
• When you email or call us: the information you provide yourself.
• Technical data: to keep the website secure and available, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type.
• Spam protection: when you use the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile uses technical signals from your browser to check that you are not an automated program.
• Visitor statistics: we measure anonymously how the website is used, without cookies and without tracking individual visitors.

Please only include in your message what is needed to answer your question.

• To answer your question and schedule an appointment: on the basis of your consent, given via the form, and — if your question leads to an appointment — for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).
• To protect the website against abuse and spam and to improve it: on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We work with a few service providers who process your data solely on our behalf:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, spam protection (Turnstile) and anonymous visitor statistics. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union, with appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — forwarding messages from the contact form to our mailbox.
• Combell NV (Belgium) — our mailbox.

With your consent, we share information about your horse with your own vet. We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.

We keep messages sent via the contact form and by email for as long as needed to handle your question and follow up your file, and no longer than 2 years after the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires a longer period.

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, object to it and request data portability. Email us at info@cavalyx.be. We will reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The website always uses an encrypted connection (https).
