Cookie statement

Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your computer or phone, for example to recognise you on a later visit or to track your browsing.

During an ordinary visit: none. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, and no embedded maps, videos or social media buttons that set cookies. The map on the site is our own image; the directions buttons only open Google Maps or Apple Maps when you click them. Only the contact form uses a spam check (see below).

To find out which pages are useful, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. This service works without cookies and does not create profiles of individual visitors.

When you use the contact form, the website loads Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent abuse by automated programs. Turnstile is only loaded once you start filling in the form, not during an ordinary visit, and checks technical data from your browser for this purpose.

Turnstile stores one technical item in your browser’s local storage, under Cloudflare’s domain (challenges.cloudflare.com): cf.turnstile.u. Depending on the check, Cloudflare may also set security cookies, such as cf_clearance (proof that the check was passed) and __cf_bm (distinguishing people from automated programs; expires after 30 minutes of inactivity).

This data is strictly necessary to secure the form that you yourself are using, so no consent is required. It is not used for advertising or to track you across other websites.

The administration screen the practice uses to update the website may use functional cookies or local storage to keep staff signed in. This applies only to staff, not to visitors.
